Its going to be a wild ride of a weekend here at VLC. Its Mother’s Day on Sunday but even before those festivities can begin, we will be taking the cookies to the people – the people at the Horseshoe Market that is. If you’ve never been to the Horseshoe it is a beautiful intimate (if you can call 150 vendors plus live music intimate) outdoor market that features local artists, crafts, and yes, cookies! I will be there, right next to one of the band stages, enjoying the scene and meeting cookie monsters. Bring your mom and come celebrate with us!
Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue………….and most definitely a Cookie Table. There are many fun wedding traditions but one of the best, most unique, and perhaps also most practical, is the Cookie Table. I’ve talked to many a bride who told me that the Cookie Table at her wedding was “the best part”. Odd I think that Colorado has yet to discover the joys of a Cookie Table. Whether in addition to the wedding cake ( I do love the tradition of the bride and groom feeding each other cake) or part of a dessert extravaganza or one beautiful dazzling array of cookies, the Cookie Table inspires guests to celebrate like a kid. Who doesn’t love to be presented with the choice of a nibble of this and a bite of that and ooohhhh, what is that one? Colorado brides take note: the Cookie Table is as unique as you and your betrothed.
